PTA Update

Firstly, a big welcome to all our new parents who have had children starting in Reception this year. We hope all your children have settled in well and we look forward to meeting you all soon.

We know these are difficult and challenging times but we think the school have done a fantastic job in implementing new restrictions and doing everything they can to keep Norris Bank children, their families and school staff as safe as possible.

We wanted to keep everyone updated on latest PTA activity so please read below for more information.

Lotto

Well done to all those who have already signed up to the Norris Bank Lotto. For anyone still wanting to sign up please contact the PTA by email: norrisbankpta@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Your child’s name and your contact details, confirmation of how many chances (numbers) you would like each month (£2 per entry)
  • Confirmation of standing order set up/paid in bulk and finish date

The first draw will take place after half term. For those who want to be entered into the draw, please can you sign up as soon as possible.

Fundraising ideas

Thank you to all those who have been in touch with different suggestions for how the PTA can raise money under current restrictions.

It has been agreed that our first PTA project is to get the children to design Norris Bank tea towels and jute bags. All children will be asked to draw a self-portrait in class and then tea towels and jute bags will be created for each year group.

We have just started the process of getting the designs created and we will send out updated information after half term on how the items can be ordered.

Joining the PTA
